We are Lisa Fox-Lenz and Walter Lenz we’ve been together since 2007. This year we decided to buy the home Walter’s grandfather built in 1954.  The traditional cape located in Ronkonkoma, NY is basically untouched since it was built (save from some paint) and so there is a lot of work to be done.

Despite neither of us having experience with home renovations we are tackling this major project ourselves and hope to be complete by 2019.

Walter is a US Marine Corps Veteran and volunteer fire fighter. When not working or fighting fires, he enjoys studying military history and camping.

About Lisa

Lisa is a writer and works in digital marketing. When not working or writing, she can be found crafting and collecting old books and curious oddities.

About Greg

The house comes with an oppressive, malevolent demonic presence, whom we’ve named Greg. A full on exorcism would really set our plans back, so we struck a deal with Greg and as long as he behaves himself, he will get some say in the design of the house. When Greg is not making the walls bleed or lights flicker, he enjoys watching Game of Thrones and re-runs of The Price is Right (with Bob Barker).
